FC Barcelona vs. Leganes
The Barcelona vs Leganés clash marks the second game of the two teams for the Spanish Championship after the soccer shutdown in Spain, due to Covid-19. Barcelona returns to the field after beating Mallorca, on the road, by 4-0, aiming to maintain (or increase) the difference of two points over Real Madrid in the standings. Leganés, who are fighting against relegation and occupy the penultimate position in the La Liga table , with just 23 points in 29 league rounds, come from a defeat by Mallorca.
The match against Leganés was more difficult than expected for Barcelona, with the guests creating a lot action at the start. To unlock the match though, was Ansu Fati who, in the FCB 433 formation, started off left to then close inside the field.
Ansu Fati unlocked the game showing a lot of talent and improvisation from the left. Despite having played only 53 minutes of the match, Ansu Fati was the Barcelona player with the most dribbles won, 4. Lionel Messi topped off the 2-0 win with his penalty goal in the 69th minute.
